In April 2019, PID acquired the majority stake in Datakamp System GmbH & Co. KG in Buxtehude. Datakamp has been developing and manufacturing electronic system components for industrial applications since 1985. The focus is on the development of modern embedded computer systems based on ARM and X86 architectures.

In addition to development, production and sale of automation systems and embedded computer systems, Datakamp also offers all connected services for the respective software and hardware products.
