Nordvalls, one of Sweden’s biggest label printing companies, acquires Bradford based label manufacturer Watermill Press Ltd. Through the acquisition, Nordvalls establishes its first production site outside of Sweden. Acquiring Watermill Press Ltd, Nordvalls grows in turnover and number of employees, welcoming a well-managed business with extensive
knowledge in the production of labels for identification to the company.
Bradford based Watermill Press Ltd produces label solutions for identification, with retailers in the food industry as one of its main customer segments. Established in 1994, the Watermill Press has been managed by its three founders, one of whom – Dale Deacon – will remain as Managing Director of the company.
“Nordvalls wants to grow with profitability, and Watermill Press Ltd is a good complement to our existing printing facilities in Sjöbo and Kungälv. Watermill Press works long-term and in close collaboration with their customers and has, just like we do, modern mechanical equipment”, says Patrik Jenemark, Managing Director of Nordvalls.
Through the acquisition, Watermill Press with its 28 employees and a turnover of approximately 8 Million GBP (2019), also becomes part of German Lübeck based PID (POSSEHL Identification Solutions) Group which is an independent division of the Possehl & Co. mbH, a decentralized group of mainly medium-sized industrial companies.
“We are pleased and excited about Watermill joining the Nordvalls labelling group. Being part of a larger European group of labelling companies will enable us to offer a wider range of products and services to our blue-chip UK based customers going forward”, says Dale Deacon, Managing Director of Watermill Press.
