Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) acquired Norwegian label design software provider LabelCraft AS as per 16.12.2022, expanding its product portfolio with a focus on digital solutions.
LabelCraft was founded in 1997 by Ingar Steinsland in Oslo and has since developed label printing applications for demanding production environments where versatility, speed and reliability are critical. LabelCraft’s focus is the label design software of the same name. Ingar, with his team of programmers and developers, always takes a “hands-on” approach developing both basic and highly specialized OEM products and services that are used by a wide range of demanding customers worldwide.
The integration into PID will create numerous growth and development opportunities for LabelCraft; special focus will be given to joint work on cross-company software solutions, which will allow the individual PID companies to offer additional solutions in the area of software and software / hardware combinations to their customers in the future.
