In May 2017, NOVEXX Solutions – part of Possehl Identification Solutions – further strengthened its market position in Europe as a leading provider of automated identification and labelling solutions through the acquisition of Eidos S.p.A., headquartered in Chieri in northern Italy.

Eidos S.p.A. is one of the leading manufacturers of printers for the labelling, marking and coding of industrial products. Specializing in TTO technology, the company develops proprietary technologies for thermal transfer printing with real‑time variable data, drawing on more than 40 years of experience. As such, Eidos S.p.A. represents a perfect complement to the existing portfolio of Possehl Identification Solutions.
